Meg was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, MO. She and her husband John Bertolami lived on Nantucket before moving to Cohasset 17 years ago to raise their two daughters. Meg graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in Nursing and has worked in Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care at both Emory University and Brigham and Women's Hospitals. Most recently, she has worked in the medical clinic at Pine Street Inn with the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program, an organization dedicated to providing high quality healthcare to homeless individuals and families. Over the years she has volunteered for both local and state organizations including the Foster Care Review Unit of the Department of Social Services, the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and her two children's classrooms at the Osgood and Deerhill Schools. A member of the Cohasset Yacht Club, Meg has volunteered on the Junior Sailing Committee and was Chair of the Cruising Committee. Her longstanding enthusiasm for real estate and design has been well received by the community; her friends and colleagues in the several neighborhoods in which she's lived. Her knowledge of the town, schools and the many public services our town offers will be of great benefit to her clients. Until recently, Meg and her family spent summers sailing the New England coast in their 43 foot Cal sloop "Christmas". She also enjoys swimming, skiing, kayaking, and reading. |
